The Egyptian mummy wrap-inspired costume for Moon Knight was one of the greatest jigsaw puzzles ever put together at FBFX! It was a labour of love for the soft costume team, with 1013 pattern pieces, a variety of brilliant prints on stretch fabrics by our dimensional print team, lots of CAD work and hard components - including the chest pieces and bandage-like vambraces - fabricated and painted in our workshop.

Concept art was by Marvel’s head of visual development, Ryan Meinerding, with costume design by Meghan Kasperlik. Boots by Jitterbug Boy!

Four years since the series' launch event in LA, here's a peek at some of the costume details, R&D and CAD modelling that went into summoning the suit.
