Harry Potter 3 - The Prisoner of Azkaban
For Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban we created suits of armour for the character Sir Cadogan and for a headless horseman. The Sir Cadogan armour was originated in steel as a real suit based on an original costume design. The suit was then replicated in polyurethane using our spray system. This flexible, light weight material is suitable for both close up photography and stunt work. Similarly the ghost horseman's armour was adapted with vicious looking spikes, from an existing suit. The armour was then moulded and cast in softer polyurethane to create armours for both horse and rider which would be safe and comfortable for stunt work. Disappointingly, the full scenes featuring these great costumes didn't make it into the cinema release of the movie, but you can click the buttons below to see pictures of the finished armour
